Per Dairy One request:

Good afternoon,

I just spoke with a nutritionist from Cargill who works with the New England states. He is doing an audit on one of our Feedlync farms this afternoon. He was inquiring about seeing actual mixing times that have happened – for example – if they were skipped, only left the timer up for half the time, etc. I explained to him that at this time, we cannot see this information.

Most of their customers are currently using TMR Tracker and they would like to move away from that – possibly to Feedlync. However, the ability to not see historical mixing times is a major roadblock for them to not refer their customers to Feedlync. Can we identify if this could be possible in the future? If this is a major stumbling block for them, it is going to continue be for others and I know we have had questions about this in the past from other customers.

Any feedback or insight is appreciated.

Thank you,

Amanda

Talking more in depth with DairyOne, somewhere in the LOADS page a column that reflects the mixing time would be great so when they export the information they can use this for their audits. We could end up gaining more market share from Cargills customers.
